George Michael at Glasgow SECC – Hotels.tv review

The long awaited performance from the one and only George Michael finally arrived in Glasgow at our exhibition centre in Glasgow, SECC.  Our tickets were purchased for last December and Hotels.tv Glasgow were ready and waiting to put pen to paper for a full review.   Alas, it wasn’t to be last year as we all George Michael fans know he was extremely poorly…….with all that behind him he took the Glasgow SECC by storm. The place was a packed out people waiting with anticipation to see their hero, marvel music man that he is. We think that George Michael only played one night in Scotland so we wonder how many people travelled up from England to stay in hotels near Glasgow?  As always, Hotels.tv were ready and waiting to give the best rates for all hotels in Glasgow City centre and surrounding areas.

George Michael performed with a thirty plus orchestra which can only be described as sheer smooth magic!  For us it felt as though we were sat in our lounge listing the album!

The second part of the concert was much more up tempo with George Michael performing his more popular music such as Freedom and I’m Your Man..two of his all time hits.  He closed the show with his latest hit “I’m alive” which he performed at the London 2012 olympics closing show.

Overall George Michael in Glasgow proved to be a raving success!

If you were at the Glasgow SECC with George Michael on Sunday 23rd September, feel free to tell us about your thoughts and experience.
